Gender equality in the workplace
In accordance with the provisions of the ‘Avenir’ Act, which aims to eliminate the gender pay gap, the Opéra de Lille is publishing its gender equality index for the 2025 financial year.
The Opéra de Lille has been awarded a score of 98 our of 100.
This result, which is significantly above the required minimum of 75 points, reflects the Opéra’s long-standing commitment to gender equality in the workplace.
The professional equality index is calculated on the basis of four criteria determined according to our total workforce:
- The gender pay gap (38/40) ;
- The gap in individual pay rise rates between women and men (35/35) ;
- Salary support for women returning from maternity leave (cannot be calculated as there has been no maternity leave in 2025) ;
- The representation of women amongst the 10 highest paid employees (10/10).
